My dear friend, I am going to miss you, even becouse we have not seen each other for a long time, as I kept waiting & hoping, that you & Jenny move to Malta, but never mind my friend, we meet in Haven & promise me, that you wait for me.May God grand you the best place in Haven & rest in peace, as you always did the best for all your family. Alan and I were great friends in our teenage years growing up during the last war in the village of Brockham Surrey. We had many cmmon interests such as The Boy Scouts as it was known in those days where we were both leaders at young age.We also were active servers at the village church. Socially we enjoyed dncing as in those days there were dances every Saturday night in most villages.Alan was best man at our wedding in 1953 and later was godfather to our first on David in 1954.In short we enjoyed a very happy and close relationship. After our marriage we moved to Reigate and to some exent lost touch. Family and career occupide our time and in those days very few peple had neither telephones or cars.Unfortunately we drifted apart. Back in 2003 we invited Aan & Jenny to our golden wedding celebrations but due to them finalising there move to Spain they were not able to come. Our thoughts are with Jenny & family at this time but we are sure they have many happy memries - as we have of the early days. Sorry that these memories ot the past are late but te sad news was received on the morning we left home for a holidy. Love to Jenny. Jill and Peter Peacock
